Port of San Francisco
Pier 1, The Embarcadero
6 pm with reception to follow
A presentation for the seventh annual Piero N. Patri Fellowship in Urban Design by the 2013 Patri Fellow Roana Tirado
Tirado writes,
As this year’s fellow, I will present my findings on the study of Bayview Hill at Candlestick Point. Bayview Hill is a Natural Resources Area Park on the Southeast Waterfront and is located on a portion of the southern terminus of the city’s Blue Greenway. The hill contains many special features such as some of the most diverse habitats remaining in the city, but has stood disconnected from nearby neighborhoods including much of Bayview, Visitacion Valley to the west and the waterfront to the east.
Come hear my presentation, Connections at Bayview Hill about increasing access to this important San Francisco open space destination. For more information, visit SPUR's website.
