Bayview Underground Community Pop-up Market Comes to Pier 70

From Pier 70,
Since becoming involved in crafting the future Pier 70 in partnership with the community, the Forest City Pier 70 team has been excited about the opportunity to start enlivening the area and actively working with the Port to make that possible.  You may have been among the 5,000 people who joined us for the August 2013 Urban Air Market in historic Building 12, the first public event in that space in the building’s 70+ year history.  And maybe you brought your family to the Ghost Ship Halloween Family Day event in October that featured a haybale maze, pumpkin painting, large scale public art installations and a San Francisco Fire Department truck.  With the success of those community events, we’re incredibly pleased to announce that the first of what will be an ongoing calendar of community and publicly accessible events at and around Building 12 will be starting this week.

Forest City and it’s event management partner, the Pier 70 Partners, invite you to join us at the Bayview Underground Community Pop-up Market in historic Building 12 at Pier 70. The market will take place every Thursday from 5:30-8:00pm starting April 10th through June 26th.  The Bayview Underground Community Pop-up Market, which has been operating for the past year, moves every quarter to a different SF neighborhood venue to reach a broader audience and increase exposure for local businesses.

Vendors include: Bandit Drinks and Treats, Beautiful You, Nia Soul, Comfort Foods National, Yvonne's Southern Sweet Treats, Aquarius Enterprise, SF Honey Co., Sugar and Honey, Fox and Lion Bread, Moyoni, CDXX, Linda's, Jake's Castro Kitchen, Rasoi, Prickly Pigs, Gratta Wines, Sutton Cellars, Auntie April’s Soul Food, and more!

Date: THURSDAYS starting April 10th – June 26th
Time: 5:30 – 8:00pm
Location: Building 12, Pier 70, 420 22nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107 (map)
