Community Meeting on Transforming Bayshore Station

SF County Transportation Authority
Community Meeting
Saturday, August 13, 2011
10:00 am–12:00 pm
New Visitacion Valley Library
201 Leland Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94134

Recent proposals for nearby land development and transportation improvements present an opportunity to transform the Bayshore Caltrain station into a vibrant transit hub and valued community asset.

In 2010, agencies from San Francisco and San Mateo Counties partnered to develop alternative conceptual designs for neighborhood access improvements and new transit connections at Bayshore station. We hosted a workshop to solicit your input on a future vision for the station and feedback on the conceptual designs. Now we have completed an evaluation that describes the tradeoffs and implications of the alternatives and identifies strategies for creating a successful station area based on that vision.

Please join us to continue our conversation about how to improve Bayshore Station and its surroundings!

We will share the study results, potential recommendations on projects and policies to support strong transit, and next steps. We seek your input on weighing the tradeoffs and refining the station vision.
