He's got what it takes to make a difference in our communities. He definitely understands the issues and is sophisticated enough to actually bring about the change and benefit he talks about in the debates.
I am voting for DeWitt Lacy for D10 Supervisor for a number of reasons. Among the candidates running, he is the clear choice to lead District 10 in the direction of positive growth and change. Dewitt has the intelligence and savvy to maneuver through the SF politics that many times trumps the attention we need on our side of the city. He is a skilled advocate for the people with a legal background which aids his ability to understand policy, complicated contracts, and go toe to toe with opposing counsel. Dewitt is committed to insuring D10 is SAFE for families and residents, providing opportunities for small businesses and increased employment, school improvements, and smart redevelopment. He listens to the needs of the community and is a consensus builder with fair negotiation skills. DeWitt is the best choice for District 10 and I will be voting for him come November 2nd.

I support DeWitt Lacy for what he has accomplished personally modeling what we want our youth to see in public office: a new leader who worked his way through undergraduate and law school, worked as a district attorney, and established his own civil rights law firm in the district. I support DeWitt because he is a studied, serious and committed advocate for jobs, economic development that uplifts the community, and excellent and accessible public education. I support DeWitt because he has demonstrated the highest levels of character before and during this campaign, showing himself to be reliable and authentic under pressure. I support DeWitt because of his timeless values that guide his fresh and innovative solutions for D'10's current problems and his vision for D'10's opportunities.
