With the UCSF hospital well on its way to completion, attention has shifted to the many new housing units that will and are being proposed for the Dogpatch area. Up to 1150 new housing units on track around the Third St corridor. Yikes!

Neighbors are most recently ticked off about the Kaiser plans, as also reported in Curbed SF. Currently, there are 123 signatories to a petition to try to keep Kaiser from building at the Corovan site, but according to the SF Business Times, these folks are just being NIMBYs. As the GOP found out this past election, it's always a good way to get people to come around to your way of thinking by alienating them and calling them names.
