Participatory Budgeting (PB) is a democratic process in which community members directly decide how to spend part of a public budget. In other words, the people who pay taxes (all of us) decide how tax dollars get spent.

Kickoff Meeting #1
When: Saturday, March 29, 2014, 10 a.m. to Noon
Where: The Village, 1099 Sunnydale Avenue
Kickoff Meeting #2 Learn more about the Participatory Budgeting process, what projects can be proposed, how to submit your ideas, and discuss the process with members of your community.
When: Wednesday, April 2, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: California College of the Arts, 350 Kansas Street
Vetting Meeting, Bayview Reconnect with fellow residents of your District and decide which projects will make it onto the ballot for public vote! Voting Dates TBD!
When: Thursday, April 17, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Southeast Community Facility, 1800 Oakdale Ave.
