Hmm, I didn't know there was a poll out. Can anyone point me to it?
Is this internal polling? Is the Sweet campaign going to share their data? Or will we only be told that she's leading in 'the polls' and nothing more? Just because you say you're leading in a poll doesn't make it true, nor does it make the poll itself real. Please show us the numbers! Let's see if my request for more information about this from the Sweet campaign is answered.
Did anyone catch Sweet's appearance at the Viz Valley forum? She told some lame joke about going from BART to D10. Downsizing, as it were. So I had a look to see what might be behind this. Turns out the BART board isn't subject to term limits. I found that hard to swallow, considering what a sham BART has turned out to be. "Highest paid transit workers in the US."
ReplyDeleteSince she's not termed out, it must be a two card shuffle. She and Willie Brown think she'll get elected to D10 and then, by magic, she'll be Interim Mayor when Gavin gets elected. As was said before, the voters are smarter than that. Now, the poll's a sham like the BART surplus. Nobody believes either. Put it this way-if you start with a $10 budget, cut it to $9 then to $8 then to $7 by cutting jobs and services, and then announce a $1 surplus since you're only spending $6 but have a $7 budget, nobody falls for that. I polled the stray cats in my neighborhood about this issue and 75% of the tabbies "meowed" in agreement. I'm just saying.
Thanks to Shane Myers of the Sweet campaign for clarifying that this was an internal poll.
ReplyDeleteInternal poll? What a clown. "She's very popular. All her friends like her."
ReplyDeleteGood thing she's got the BART job to fall back on. At least until 2012. Really - how did this happen? Bad karma? We must have been Republicans in a former life. Or, Ross Perot's barber.
