... our goal for this event was to attract at least 500 participants... who share our concerns about the importance of responsible fatherhood.
The event is triggered initially by the continuing deadly youth related and other violence that is impacting our neighborhoods. This community currently suffers a significant amount of social, moral and safety issues including, but not limited to, an extraordinary number of African American children removed from their homes and placed in Foster Care (2000% higher than other communities in the city).
