Cox Conserves Heroes is an awards program created by
Cox Enterprises and the
Trust for Public Land. It’s a program that honors those unsung heroes who are working in the arena of land and water conservation.

Jeffrey Betcher of
Quesada Gardens Initiative is among 5 semi-finalists who will be featured in a video produced by
KTVU Channel 2 and aired on their KTVU Noon News and on the
Cox Conserves Heroes website. Viewers will be asked to view the five videos and to vote for the selection.
The winner will receive a check for $5000 to their charity of choice. The four other semi-finalists will receive checks for $1250 for their charity of choice.
The winner will be announced at an awards reception to be held at the KTVU studios in Oakland in the month of October.
