In the video below, police are shown administering aid to the man whom they shot at Third & Oakdale in the Bayview following a foot chase and after he allegedly pulled a weapon and began firing on them first. The videographer points to what seems to be a silver pistol laying on the ground (amongst the crowd) and the person who allegedly picked it up.
