Visitacion Valley Community Center
66 Raymond Avenue
There will be an update on several critical issues facing us right now, particularly the situation with Redevelopment and Schlage Lock as well as the future Caltrain Station, Executive Park and the opening of our new Library (at last!).
Your input is needed more than ever!
BI-COUNTY TRANSPORTATION STUDY
Chester Fung from the Transportation Authority will give a presentation on the Bi-county Study, which concerns the Geneva Avenue Extension across the Baylands to connect to Highway 101 and Harney Way, as well as other transportation issues. The Geneva Avenue Extension will be critical to traffic flow in the Valley, particularly given the onslaught of new commercial and residential development proposed for the area.
A very informative timeline showing the relationship between the development of land use and transportation projects will be shown. This is key to a better understanding of how everything will fit together so that land use development will happen in tandem with transportation improvements and our streets will not be clogged with traffic.
PUC UPDATE
PUC Representatives will give a brief update on the Sunnydale Sewer Improvement Project
