The Bay Citizen writes, "Interim mayor says he's not afraid of 'all the politics' the city has." I suspect that's because he knows his way around 'all the politics' already. Just ask all the supervisors who voted him back in January how they were told he'd only be interim mayor.
Don't get me wrong, I think he seems like a very in-touch kind of guy who's generally doing a better job than someone else might have done, especially given the city's economy, recent police incidents in the Bayview, and such. I just don't like it when people who appear to be doing good are actually heavily backed by people who may or may not be in it for more than their own interests.
