Archstone buys Potrero site

From the SF Business Times,
Archstone Apartments is continuing its Bay Area buying spree with the $36 million acquisition of the Daggett Place property in inner Potrero Hill, a development site entitled for 470 units.

Archstone plans to start construction next August. The two-building rental development, at 1000 16th St., will take 18 months to build.
