The mission of SCRAP is to stimulate artistic creativity and environmental awareness in children and adults by promoting the creative reuse of materials that traditionally have been discarded as waste.

SCRAP is a creative reuse warehouse and workshop space, dedicated to diverting materials from landfill and into the hands of artists, teachers, nonprofits and others who can creatively reuse them. SCRAP's depot holds treasures galore: fabric, paint, paper, toys, frames, plastic, wood, glass, over half a million pounds each year, with new donations every day.
