Staff Changes in Supervisor Cohen's Office

The Office of Supervisor Cohen is pleased to announce that Mawuli Tugbenyoh will be joining the team as a Legislative Aide. This comes on the heels of the departure of longtime Legislative Aide Megan Hamilton. We are pleased she will be furthering her education in law school but sad to see her leave her position.

Megan successfully ushered in large projects including neighborhood clean-up's, a Code Enforcement Task Force which is an interdepartmental effort to abate blight, funding gun buybacks, improving economic development, and strengthening public safety.

Mawuli comes with a strong background in healthcare, specifically mental health and environmental justice. After a seven month internship in the office he will be focusing on the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood.
