Bayview has several areas with non-functioning streetlights. Unfortunately, those broken streetlights tend to make those areas attractive for crime.
On October 17th, BRITE is inviting the public to help us identify broken streetlights so that they can be repaired. We will meet at the Market on Third at 7PM and go out in groups to identify lights that need to be repaired.
We plan to use the "SF 311" app to report broken lights; the PUC and PG&E generally fix them within 5 days of reporting.
