Burrows Park Phase II

As part of the ongoing design of Burrows Pocket Park, the project sponsors for Phase II of the project invite you to the Portola community to provide input in artist selection process for proposed art wall located at the park site.

The focus of the art wall is to create a welcoming environment for the neighborhood to enjoy the park. It hopes to increase the sense of mobility in the area and draw activity to the public amenity while extending the energy of the community outward.

The shortlisted artists’ concepts will be available for viewing on Thursday September 19th, between 5:30pm and 6:30pm at the Portola Public Library (380 Bacon St, San Francisco). There will be an opportunity for brief forum at the end of the viewing session for the community to discuss the concepts and provide feedback to the project designer. Please note the final artist selection will be subject to a review by the project sponsors.
