On August 24th, in collaboration with Noisepop (producers of Treasure Island Music Festival and Noisette), Nomic, and The Bon Vivants, NTRG will be taking over 20th Street between Harrison and Bryant from noon-6pm for an awesome festival of food and music. The event will be free to the public, and will feature performances by musical acts such as Two Gallants and Mac DeMarco, as well as the Mission's finest food and drinks, including some very special offerings from salumeria, central kitchen, and flour + water!

Salumeria will be setting up shop in central kitchen's entrance and hosting a good ol' fashionedbarbecue, grilling house-made sausages and pouring cold ones all afternoon from noon-4pm.

From noon-6pm, Chef Ryan Pollnow will be manning central kitchen's very own booth, serving up delicious CK-style tacos!

And last, but definitely not least, flour + water will be celebrating by opening its doors for lunch for the first time ever! Chef Thomas McNaughton and the kitchen will be cooking up dishes in the style of Cucina Povera ("poor man's food"), a Southern Italian form of cuisine. Hours for this very special event will be from noon-2pm, and seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Throughout the day, each restaurant will also do a presentation in the NTRG demo tent! From 12:30-2:15, salumeria will be showing festival goers the ropes of pickling and jarring;from 1:30-2:15 flour + water will be giving a pasta-making tutorial; and from 2:30-3:15 central kitchen will be demonstrating the art of farmers' market utilization! Between demonstrations, we will feature tastings from some of the amazing local purveyors that we carry at salumeria.

This event is shaping up to be the city's best party of the year! Don't miss out!
