Bayview Outpost of Brown Sugar Kitchen Delayed Until Winter; Limon Rotisserie Due In a Few Weeks

From EaterSF,
Though we don't make it out to the Bayview on the T line too often ourselves, we've been keeping a close watch on news about the upcoming restaurant mini-explosion out there. Today we heard from SFoodie that Brown Sugar Kitchen (5800 Third Street) will not be making their fall opening as planned, and are pushing back, vaguely, until "winter." (This might have something to do with owner Tanya Holland's unexpected Oakland expansion with B-Side BBQ, which is likely occupying some of her time and resources.) Grub Street placed a call to Limon Rotisserie, who's a bit closer to schedule but with a slight delay; they hope to open their second location in the same Third Street development by late October, if all goes all well.

The Fresh & Easy grocery store at 5800 Third Street opened in late August, and is already quite a hit.

As for Radio Africa & Kitchen, which has also had much-delayed brick-and-mortar plans down the street at 4800 Third Street, chef-owner Eskender Aseged tells SFoodie that he's aiming to open "around December 13th."
