San Francisco to train 2,500 for tech jobs

SF Biz Journals writes that "San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee launched a federally funded program to train and place 2,500 residents of diverse ages and backgrounds in jobs in the city's burgeoning tech sector over the next five years."  Find out more about TechSF, a coalition of more than 330 of the city's high-tech companies, the SF Citizens for Innovation & Technology (SF.CITI), and local community colleges, educational institutions, and workforce training nonprofit organization, and how they plan to use the $8M in funding at SF Biz Journals.

Head over to the TechSF website for more details.
