Gay 4 Good Comes to SCRAP

Forty or so volunteers from the super-awesome volunteer organization Gay 4 Good came out the Bayview today to spend a few hours at SCRAP (Scrounger’s Center for Reusable Art Parts) sort and organize some of the 250 tons of donated art-related materials that come through their doors each year. We sorted, organize and rolled fabric (SCRAP receives over 100 tons of fabric donations annually and most of them have to be individually sorted and folded), created packets of materials for their teacher material give-aways, packaged other donations, cleaned out a section of their warehouse, and organized their tile selection.
