Leaders from the Bayview Hunters Point community are working to start a pilot van sharing collective. Similar to car sharing, this service would be used by numerous neighborhood organizations, creating additional, more cost effective service than what these organizations currently provide. The project would be operated by a mobility manager and overseen by a community advisory board comprised of community members supported by technical experts.
