For those who live in Silver Terrace, the construction at the Produce Market's 900 Rankin construction site became a reality this weekend as crews continued their pile driving work, beginning both days around 7am. As fireworks from AT&T Park can be heard as if they're just down the block, it's not too surprising to those who live there that the clunk of the pile driver permeated up the hill and into everyone's early Saturday and Sunday mornings.
After writing to and speaking with an official at the Produce Market who was gobsmacked that residents could hear and feel the pile driver so far away, I was assured that swift action would be taken to help mitigate the early morning noise.
