The Palou Community Garden (Palou at Dunshee) is up for a $3000 SF Parks Alliance Action Grant. Please VOTE FOR US so that we can make the improvements we need to help our community garden grow!
Our goal is to increase our ability to improve the appearance of the Palou Community Garden with a new round of sheet mulching and the purchase of much needed equipment. Expansion of our outreach to mono-lingual Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin-speakers will further allow the Palou Community Garden to grow our volunteer base in our diverse Bayview community, allowing us to activate the space with plantings, regular cleanup days, and community events such as BBQs and permaculture education.
