You are invited to listen and share your ideas for community projects and improvements in McLaren Park. This month’s meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 8th at 7pm at the Crocker Amazon Club House (at Moscow and Italy Streets). Topics will cover upcoming events, park issues and an interactive discussion on bringing more events to the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. Rec & Park will share discussions with the non-profit Levitt Foundation for a locally focused performance series.
Should there be an active project RPD will incorporate information at the meeting to include in any future community meetings. Also updates will be given about the free-to-the-public entertainment series named "Saturday In The Park- McLaren"scheduled to take place on Saturdays from mid-August to late October.

In this case, they have proposed changing the name of the "Jerry Garcia Amphitheater" to the "The Levitt Pavilion San Francisco at Jerry Garcia Meadows". An online petition with nearly 2000 signatures has been making the rounds in opposition to this, so this upcoming Help McLaren Park meeting should get lively when this is discussed.
