Get an update on the Port’s Maritime activity, the Port’s partnership with the Golden Gate Audubon Society on the Pier 94 wetlands and provide input on the Pier 92 Grain Silo Public Art Project.

Proposed art for the Pier 92 Grain Siloslocated on Amador Street and Islais Creek. Selected artists Laura Haddad and Tom Drugan wish to share the art concepts and research they have conducted, and learn more from local residents about meaningful stories, events, places and people that might inform how the art develops from here.

The Port and SFAC staffs are working with the artists to conduct community outreach to help further refine the design concept. The Port’s Southern Waterfront Advisory Committee (SWAC) meeting on March 27, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Bayview Opera House is scheduled to solicit input.
